MoniqueMai is a Copenhagen based singer/songwriter who has been active on the music scene since 2012. MoniqueMai's acoustic style aims to capture an authentic atmosphere, which acts as the platform for her lyrics. 

MoniqueMai's creative process begins with using lyrics as the foundation for her music. Her ambition is to inspire her audience to ask questions, wonder, and self reflect.

Throughout the years on stage, MoniqueMai has visited a diverse range of venues in and out of copenhagen. From underground copenhagen venues like RUST, Stengade, Børneteateret (Christiania), to festivals like The Copenhagen Songwriters Festival, Tønder Festival, Frederikssundfestival, and more. 

Most recently, MoniqueMai can be heard as part of a new constellation of artists along with the Danish rap and beatpoetry duet "Høxbroe & Stik op", guest appearing on stage as a singer and instrumentalist.
